Isabella Oishi
Senior Associate

Bella Oishi defends clients in high-profile, high-stakes criminal prosecutions, government investigations, and complex civil litigation. She counsels individuals and organizations facing the full range of government enforcement actions, including criminal investigations, congressional inquiries, and regulatory enforcement actions. Her practice also includes cutting-edge affirmative litigation to challenge illegal government actions and protect clients' rights. Bella has served as a key member of trial teams handling complex federal prosecutions in jurisdictions across the country, counseling clients through grand jury proceedings, hearings, trials, and appeals in sensitive and high-profile matters.

Bella's practice encompasses the full spectrum of white collar defense—from the initial stages of government inquiry up to and including trial and the appellate process. She regularly handles matters that attract significant media attention and public interest, where success requires managing both the legal battlefield and the court of public opinion.

Bella excels at crisis management in high-pressure situations where clients face reputational and operational threats alongside legal jeopardy. She works closely with clients to develop comprehensive response strategies that address immediate government demands while protecting clients’ rights, reputations, and careers.

Before joining L&A, Bella practiced at Winston & Strawn LLP, where she began her legal career. She graduated with honors from the University of Arizona and earned her J.D. from Georgetown Law.
