Kim Saunders is a Practice Coordinator & Paralegal at Lowell & Associates, where she coordinates day-to-day operations for the firm's attorney team while providing hands-on paralegal support across firm matters.
Kim brings a breadth of experience to her role. She joined the firm after serving as a founding paralegal at a civil rights law firm, where she helped shape the firm's case management and legal support structure from the ground up. Before that, she was a paralegal at a criminal defense firm in California where she supported the firm's caseload and assisted the lead attorney through several trials.
Kim graduated from UC Irvine with a bachelor's degree in Criminology, Law, and Society. During her undergraduate studies, she was awarded the UCDC Chancellor's Fellowship to participate in the University of California Washington Program. In this program, she gained further criminal defense experience as an Investigative Intern at the Federal Public Defender's Office here in D.C.
