Nina Plateroti is the firm’s Legal Administrative Assistant, where she provides essential administrative support across the organization. Her duties are centered on ensuring that the team has what they need for effective advocacy.

Prior to joining Lowell & Associates, she coordinated programs and partnerships at Women in International Security (WIIS), supporting initiatives that advanced gender equity and global security. Nina’s professional and academic work has explored the intersection of law, human rights, and governance, including published research on gender analysis in U.S. security cooperation and fieldwork on international human trafficking. Nina’s background in research, policy analysis, and advocacy, focused on the intersection of democracy and human rights, informs and inspires her work.

Nina holds a B.A. in International Affairs from The George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs.
