Nina Plateroti
Practice Coordinator & Paralegal
Nina Plateroti is a practice coordinator and paralegal at Lowell & Associates. In this role, she manages case workflows, coordinates numerous firm operations and administrative tasks, and provides comprehensive paralegal support to the attorney team, working closely with firm leadership on key projects.
Nina joined L&A as a legal administrative assistant, where she quickly distinguished herself by streamlining administrative and operational functions across the firm. Prior to joining L&A, she coordinated programs and partnerships at Women in International Security (WIIS), supporting initiatives that advanced gender equity and global security policy.
Her professional and academic background sits at the intersection of law, human rights, and governance, including published research on gender analysis in U.S. security cooperation and fieldwork on international human trafficking. That foundation in research, policy, and advocacy continues to shape her approach to her work at the firm.
Nina holds a B.A. in International Affairs from The George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs.
